The Role of Ultrasound and Doppler in Diabetes in Pregnancy. The meeting will open its first day with a post graduate course on the use of ultra sound and doppler in the diagnosis and contributory management of patients with diabetes spanning from the first trimester to antenatal surveillance. (4 AMA-PRA category 1 credits)

of the Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Group of North America
The 2009 Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Group of North America (DPSG-NA) meeting will spotlight “Therapeutic and Diagnostic Controversies”. Several nationally – and internationally-recognized experts will underscore the state-of-the-art information relevant to each session.
The meeting will focus on recent findings of the HAPO multi-center trial; as well as, those of the NIH consensus in addressing methods of diagnosing and managing diabetes in pregnancy- particularly gestational diabetes. The influence of genetics including potential markers will also be covered.
